Knickerbocker Bar & Grill, located in the heart of Greenwich village, is a neighborhood favorite.  Established in 1977, its popularity has grown over the years, due to its moderate prices, large portions and wonderful creations from Chef Jason Bunin (formerly of Patria).
Knickerbocker is known for its great Jazz and its 28 oz. T- Bone Steaks, and is a favorite among many celebrities.  In recent articles, F. Murray Abraham and Ben Stiller mentioned it as among their favorite.  Rachel Ray, from The Foodnetwork, has on several occasions praised our Shrimp Cocktail, Creamed Spinach and of course our       T- Bone Steaks. We will be appearing in an episode on her new TV Show, featuring Rachel's NYC favorites. Other frequent celebrities include Chris Noth, Richard Gere, Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Jane Curtain and Paul Sorvino.

The word "Knickerbocker" itself, says "New York".  Upon entering, you'll know you're in the Village.  Its wood paneled walls sport a wonderful collection of memorabilia with a New York state of mind.  Pieces range from rare turn of the century posters to original caricatures by Al Hirschfeld.  Large leather booths line the walls and brass rails accent the 100 year old marble bar, where Charles Lindbergh signed his contract to fly across the Atlantic.

Knickerbocker has survived the times by using the freshest ingredients from local markets, and offering good solid value and quality.  The wine list offers over 100 selections from around the world, priced from $30, there are also several wines by the glass available.  The Knickerbocker serves until till 2 A.M. on the weekend, and offers a Bistro Menu, for when you want something a little lighter.

Dinner menu is served all day!!
