OUR CHEF

Knickerbocker Bar & Grill, located in the heart of Greenwich village, is a neighborhood favorite. Established in 1977, its popularity has grown over the years, due to its moderate prices and large portions. Though mostly thought of as a Steak House, our menu includes House Made Pastas, Fresh Seafood, all desserts made on premise.

Our new Chef Clara O'Marde, started at the Knick in 1985, at the age of 22. She pretty much always ran the kitchen, regardless of who the chef was. Now she is the Chef, and the food is even better.

 

She is always following the latest trend, but maintains solid roots in some classic dishes. She watches every plate to ensure its quality, since it now has her name on it.
